Why does Eclipse need your personal data?

We need knowledge about your car and any car services you purchase from us so that we can provide you with the service we are obligated to through the agreement, but also to ensure that your current and future car ownership is as smooth as possible for you. The data is also necessary to store in case we need to recall cars for various reasons.
Marketing like most other businesses, we have a legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6 (1)(f)) in marketing our services. If we have an existing customer relationship with you, we will contact you with relevant information related to our services. This may include, but is not limited to, information about new products or other interesting goods and services related to your customer relationship with us.
We will try to anticipate your various needs so that we can provide you with the most relevant information possible and make our customer service to you as good as possible. Simply put, we want to give you the right message at the right time in the right channel. To do this, your personal data will be used to calculate what products, services, and information you need.
Eclipse Solfilm uses phone, email, SMS, and social media to provide you with information. If you do not wish to receive such inquiries, you can opt out of receiving information in various channels at any time by contacting us via email. Marketing beyond this will be based on your possible consent.

Personal data processed by Eclipse Solfilm as the data controller is generally stored on servers in Norway and the EU/EEA.
You have the right to access and correct or delete personal data or restrict the processing that concerns you, or to object to the processing, as well as the right to data portability. Furthermore, you can withdraw any consent to the processing of your personal data at any time.
You also have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that has legal effects for you or similarly significantly affects you.
